WELCOME TO CHILE
Chile is nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean in Southern Latin America. As home to the southernmost city in the world (Puerto Williams), anyone looking at a map could think that Chile is at the end of the world.
Today, Chile is one of the most stable countries in the entire region. It boasts a booming, continually growing economy, strong institutions. It is open to the world and its population enjoys high security indexes that have become an example to follow in the region.
According to the Ministry of Social Development’s latest measurement, Chile’s economic growth has cut poverty from 68% in 1990 to 8.6% in 2017, a figure that stands out compared to other nations and large economies in the region, like Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
